7/31/2023 0 Comments Polskie radio trojka![]() ![]() The next day Polish Radio made a statement that the results were fabricated. The statement received highly negative comments from many politicians (both opposition and the ruling party), as the list was made since 1983 and most of the list staff was working in Polish Radio since up to 1978. The accusations of fabrication resulted in resignations first of the Music Chart team, and later of almost all Trójka journalists. This followed by airing many hours of music without hosts (normally, the station plays music without hosts for only two hours a year, during Christmas Eve Wigilia supper). Some of the journalist from the team decided to come back to the station after one of them became the Trójka director, but they left the station again after he was removed from this position in August (after three months in office). Polish Radio then assembled a new team for the station, which included a few journalists that decided to stay and many coming from other media outlets, including some right-wing commentators. The new team of Trójka resulted in a huge drop of listernership, from around 8% to less than 2% of the market. Former Trójka journalists now work at and. I searched the RTL French web site but found no mentions of longwave.* A mug with the old logo of PR3 (the 1990s). I tried a couple of European SDRs Sunday night to hear George Lang’s two-hours-at-midnight “Saga” profiling The Eagles. ![]() This is a minor observation, but I can confirm the absence of RTL on longwave after midnight. ![]() It was four hours of goth-type rock (think Sisters of Mercy) or similar tracks with lush production. I am disappointed that they removed their monthly “Third Side Of The Moon” show, which aired at midnight close to each full moon. Late night (Polish time) on weekends is usually pretty good, too. There is a one-hour weeknight slot at 02:00 Polish time that usually has cool music. After midnight on Radio 3 used to be fairly solid music programs for six hours, but now there’s more talk programming on weeknights. I listened to an hour-long program of electronic music last night and appeared to be the first person to ever Shazam “Falszywy Raszyn” by Dawid Hallmann. Nice touch!įWIW, there are still some good alternative rock music shows on Radio 3. Interestingly, when you click on the Radio 1 program listing for “Wiaomosci” on the Polish Radio schedule map, a great-circle map with mV/m signal-strength contours pops up. I don’t see any similar programs listed on other Polskie Radio channels, except for a 23-minute “Wiaomosci po ukrainsku,” airing at 17:07 on Polish Radio 1. Mention of “service ukraine on trojka” at the end. Male voice with numerous mentions of Ukranian president, also mentions of parliament and CNN, faint neutral electronic music in background. ![]() The 18:32 segment began with a couple of mentions of “service ukraine” then into another language. There is Cyrllic-like text underneath the Polish titles, so I assume this is a program aimed at Ukraine in their language. First two airings are five minutes each, last one is three minutes. I see that Polskie Radio’s web site lists a “Serwis po ukrainsku” on Radio 3 weekdays at 10:30, 14:30 and 18:32 Polish time. ![]()
